DESCRIPTION:If you are interested in learning how to identify the many spec
 ies of plants and animals inhabiting Newton’s parks and conservation are
 as\, join Zach Shein\, an experienced botanist and habitat restoration pro
 fessional\, for a June morning BioBlitz! Zach will spend a few hours surve
 ying and discussing plants with Bioblitz participants and posting the grou
 p’s observations to the iNaturalist app. Participants do not need to be 
 experts. Families are welcome.\n\nDownload the free iNaturalist app to you
 r phone beforehand from the Apple App Store for iOS or the Google Play St
 ore for Android. The numerous observations of Newton’s parks in iNatura
 list can be found online at https://www.inaturalist.org/projects/newton-
 ma-conservation-areas-parks-survey. Participants should wear long pants an
 d sturdy shoes. A steady rain will cancel the Bioblitz.\n\nTo join the Bio
