DESCRIPTION:POSTPONED TO SUNDAY JUNE 8 10:30 am \nDue to the predicted clo
 udy and/or rainy weather Saturday\, the Newton Conservators is reschedulin
 g the Bioblitz at Edmands Park in Newton from Saturday\, June 7\, to Sunda
 y\, June 8.  The time will be the same (from 10:30 am to 12:30 pm)\, as w
 ill the Bioblitz meeting location.   We are sorry for any inconvenience 
 this may cause but in order to have a robust Bioblitz we need sunny or ev
 en partially sunny weather.  We hope you can make it on Sunday!\n\nThese 
 BioBlitz events are part of a larger effort by Newton Conservators to docu
 ment and raise awareness about the great diversity of plants and animals t
 hat inhabit Newton’s open spaces. At the beginning of the event\, we wil
 l give a brief tutorial on the iNaturalist app\, which we use to document 
 species and as an identification aid.\nCome explore the pollinators of Edm
 ands Park and improve insect identi cation skills. Surrounded by stone wal
 ls and bordered by Boston College Law School on one side\, this park conta
 ins woods\, small clearings\, wetlands\, Edmands Brook\, and a glacial esk
 er. Its open oak forest contains beeches\, locusts\, maples\, birches\, an

 able along Blake Street. Enter at North end near the old field habitat as
