SUMMARY:Fourth Annual Newton Pollinator Garden Tour
DESCRIPTION:Explore a mix of beautiful and functional private and public la
 ndscapes during the Fourth Annual Newton Pollinator Garden Tour\, taking p
 lace on Saturday\, September 19\, 2026\, from Noon to 4:00 pm\, with a rai
 n date the following day. Focused on gardens showcasing mostly native plan
 ts across several Newton villages\, this self-paced tour will demonstrate 
 how native flora can beautifully sustain vital local pollinators. Organize
 d by the Newton Community Pollinator Project in conjunction with Newton Co
 nservators\, Newton Parks Recreation and Culture Department\, Green Newton
 \, Friends of Cold Spring Park\, Friends of Wellington Park\, and Mothers 
 Out Front Newton\, the event is free\, but preregistration is requested so
  that garden maps and info can be emailed to participants in advance.  Wa

 ur will open soon.\n\nThe Newton Community Pollinator Project is looking f
 or new native plant heavy gardens to add to the tour for this year.  Prev
 ious tours have focused on Newton Center\, Newton Highlands\,  Newtonvill
 e\, and West Newton but we are open to considering new areas\; ideally we 
 would like to have a few gardens in close proximity.  If you would like t
