DESCRIPTION:If you are interested in learning how to identify the many spec
 ies of plants and animals inhabiting Newton’s parks and conservation are
 as\, join Zach Shein\, an experienced botanist and habitat restoration pro
 fessional\, for a BioBlitz in the Saw Mill Brook Conservation Area!  Zach
  will spend a few hours surveying and discussing plants with Bioblitz part
 icipants and posting the group’s observations to the iNaturalist app. Pa
 rticipants do not need to be experts. Families are welcome.\n\nDownload th
 e free iNaturalist app to your phone beforehand from the Apple App Store 
 for iOS or the Google Play Store for Android. The numerous observations o
 f Newton’s parks in iNaturalist can be found online at https://www.ina
 turalist.org/projects/newton-ma-conservation-areas-parks-survey. Participa
 nts should wear long pants and sturdy shoes. A steady rain will cancel the
  Bioblitz.\n\nTo join the Bioblitz\, meet at the Vine Street entrance (opp
 osite 5 Hollywood Drive) to the Saw Mill Brook Conservation Area. Extra pa
