DESCRIPTION:The Newton Conservators Invasives Team tackles garlic mustard\,
  buckthorn\, black swallow-wort\, bittersweet\, japanese knotweed\, and ot
 her problems in many of Newton's open spaces.  Come join us!  The schedu
 le for this month is listed below (dates are listed by month in separate "
 events").  Help keep these invaders out! Wear long pants tucked into sock
 s\, closed shoes\, and garden gloves. Trash bags will be provided\; the Ci
 ty will dispose properly as trash\, not as yard waste.   New to our inva

   Come see the beautiful new boardwalk and bridge over the brook!  Park 
 on Bryon Rd near 2 Bryon Rd and cross Lagrange St  where the opening in t
 he fence is - that is the access point to Kesseler Conservation area.\n\nT

  parking lot behind the Street shopping Center at corner Hammond Pond and 
 Rte 9.\n\nSunday Aug 23 8:30-10am.        Crystal Lake pocket park on 
 Centre St (opposite 1408 Centre St).   Park on Paul St or Locksley Rd. \
 n\nThursday Aug 27  8:30-10am.   Cold Spring Park.  Meet at kiosk at e
 nd of Beacon St parking lot.\n\nSaturday Aug 29  8:30-10am.    Hemlock 
 Gorge.  Meet at Ellis St parking lot.\n\nSunday Aug 30 8:30-10am.     
     Saw Mill Brook.  Meet at Vine St parking lot opposite 5 Hollywood D
