DESCRIPTION:The Newton Conservators Invasives Team tackles garlic mustard\,
  buckthorn\, black swallow-wort\, bittersweet\, japanese knotweed\, and ot
 her problems in many of Newton's open spaces.  Come join us!  The schedu
 le for this month is listed below (dates are listed by month in separate "
 events").  Help keep these invaders out! Wear long pants tucked into sock
 s\, closed shoes\, and garden gloves. Trash bags will be provided\; the Ci
 ty will dispose properly as trash\, not as yard waste.   New to our inva

 2571.\n\nFor November\, we'll continue with 9:30am-12 noon on Thursdays an
 d Saturdays\, adding some Sunday afternoons\, with some exceptions.  We'l
 l focus on knotweed\, porcelainberry\, bittersweet\, and shrubs.\nThursday
  Nov 5 9:30 - Sawmill Brook Conservation Area.  Knotweed and Buckthorn.

 Nov 5  1:30-3pm Marty Sender path at Lyons Field in Auburndale\n\nSunday 
 Nov 8  2-4 Nahanton buckthorn &amp\; knotweed.  Meet at the Nature Cente
 r at the Nahanton St canoe rental entrance.\n\nThursday Nov 12 9:30. Blue 
 Heron Bridge.  Meet at the bridge on Newton side\; park at the end of Alb
 emarle Rd in Newton or in the Super Stop and Shop on the Watertown side.\n
 \nSaturday Nov 14 2-4 Wabasso buckthorn with the BC Outdoor Adventures gro
 up.  Meet at the parking circle\, near 10 Forest Grove Rd in Auburndale\,
  02466.\n\nSaturday Nov 21  2-4 Cold Spring Park knotweed and buckthorn. 
 Meet at the circle at the left end of the parking lot from the Beacon St e
 ntrance.\n\nSunday Nov 22 2-4. City Hall ponds.  Meet at the circle in fr
 ont of City Hall.\nSaturday Nov 28  9:30. Quinobequin knotweed (if it is
