DESCRIPTION:Nahanton Park offers a mix of woodlands\, wetlands\, edge habit
 at and meadows along the Charles River\, making it one of the best birding
  spots in Newton for migrants and resident species. Follow along with bird
 ing guides Alison Leary and Haynes Miller as they search for Rose-breasted
  Grosbeaks\, Northern Orioles\, Black-capped Chickadees\, and various wood
  warblers.  Bring binoculars if you have them and wear sturdy shoes. Ente
 r the park via Nahanton Street and park in the lot at the canoe/kayak rent
 al location on Nahanton Street.\n\nA steady rain will cancel the walk.\n\n
