SUMMARY:See What's New at Riverside Park
DESCRIPTION:New date. This walk was rescheduled from 9/27/26.\n\nCome tour 
 the newly upgraded Riverside Park area and learn about the efforts to conn
 ect Newton’s walking areas and park lands!  Tod Cochran of the Riversid
 e Greenway Working Group will lead interested walkers on a short 1.5-mile 
 loop.  Participants should meet at Riverside Park at the end of Charles S
 treet in Auburndale (the closest address is 107 Charles Street).  From th
 ere\, Tod will bring the group across the Charles on the recently reopened
  Lasell Boathouse Bridge\, continue on the Weston side to the Pony Truss B
 ridge and Newton's Pony Truss Trail\, and then loop back to the Charles St
 reet parking area.  Much of the walk is flat and paved\, while the Pony T
 russ Trail is natural and narrow.  A steady rain will cancel the walk.\n\
