 epartment of Entomology and Wildlife Ecology at the University of Delaware
 \, where he has authored 106 research publications and has taught insect r
 elated courses for 41 years. He is the author of several books\, including
  his most recent\, The Nature of Oaks. In 2021 he co-founded Homegrown Nat
 ional Park with Michelle Alfandari\, a 20 million acre network of viable h
 abitats that will provide vital corridors connecting the few natural areas
