Cynthia Staples

Cynthia Staples is a Boston-based freelance writer and photographer. For nearly fifteen years she has worked with local education and environmental nonprofits as well as with national sustainability organizations. When she is not writing, she has a camera in-hand exploring the natural world. Since 2006, she has had the opportunity to explore the woods of Edmands Park. Her favorite time to photograph there is after the rains when the creeks swell to overflowing. In 2007, she received a Writers’ Room of Boston creative nonfiction fellowship.
