“The Secret Lives of Native Bees”
Over four thousand species of wild bees inhabit North America. They come in every size, shape, and color you can imagine, and they live all around us, hiding in plain sight. Dr. Dorian will introduce us to some of the fascinating wild bees of eastern North America and their varied lifestyles, habitat needs, and intricate relationships with native flowering plants and other insects. He will explain why they’re important for our environment. We’ll learn to notice, appreciate, and how to help these important pollinators in our community.
Registration
Please note that in order to help fund the event, we now have a second ticket type called Nature Advocate. This includes a $60 tax-deductible gift towards event costs beyond the meal itself. (The Standard ticket is, as always, not tax deductible.) Thank you for your support!
