Help save the Monarchs! It’s a great way to start the day. Sunday, July 28, at 9 am, Friends of Cold Spring Park will hold an invasives plant pull to remove Black Swallow-wort from the park. This invader, a threat to the Monarch butterfly, is just starting to appear in a couple places and we would like to nip it in the bud. If we have enough people we will also scour the park on the lookout for additional incursions. Meet at the Duncklee Rd entrance. The leader is Katherine Howard, 617-721-2571 cell.
