Green Newton is joining the Newton Democratic City Committee’s Climate Crisis Subcommittee, in presenting “Preparing for Climate Change: Is Newton Doing Enough?” Emily Norton, Newton city councilor and Executive Director of the Charles River Watershed Association, will discuss the fact that regardless of how much we reduce emissions in the future, many impacts of climate change are here and we need to address them. The forum will cover flooding, heat, and nature-based solutions. Preregistration is required.
