EXCITING NEXT STEPS FOR THE RESTORATION OF CHEESECAKE BROOK!
This winter, the City of Newton is breaking ground on major projects that will improve conditions in Cheesecake Brook. As part of improvements to Albemarle Playground, the city will be using nature-based strategies to promote infiltration, reduce stormwater pollution, and restore nearly an acre of riparian corridor along the brook! Join this public meeting to hear about plans for the project and how the community can get involved. This public meeting is being organized by the Charles River Watershed Association (CRWA) and will be a HYBRID meeting taking place in person and online.
