Newton Community Pride is kicking off WinterFEST 2024 with a guided family-friendly and dog-friendly Winter Walk with Newton Conservators and Olaf through the trails of Cold Spring Park. Warm up with complimentary hot chocolate and explore Cold Spring Park with your Newton community! Barbara Bates will be leading the walk and educating attendees on the natural wonders of Cold Spring Park. See a short video of last year’s WinterFEST walk on our YouTube channel. The Winter Fest will have lots of other activities as well.

WinterFEST Soup Social

Join Newton Community Pride as we bring the heat to the Hyde with our WinterFEST Soup Social! Enjoy live music from The Timba Messengers, glow-in-the-dark hula hoops, and an interactive light-up public art installation, Brighter Ignited.

Gather with your Newton neighbors on the Newton Centre Green to meet Elsa from Disney’s Frozen and her other winter friends, shop at our pop-up Winter Market, watch a live ice sculpture demonstration, paint a plow with Newton’s DPW, and enjoy live performances and entertainment while sipping complimentary hot chocolate!
