Newton Conservators holds conservation restrictions on several open space parcels in the city. These legally enforceable restrictions prevent development and misuse of these properties. Newton Conservators conducts annual monitoring visits and prepares reports to be sure that the restrictions are being followed. The reports cover the land we own outright as well as the conservation restrictions that we hold.
