If you have been inspired by our Newton Pollinator Garden Tour to incorporate more native plants in your own garden, don’t miss the Native Plant Pop-up Sale at the Cold Spring Park Farmers’ Market on Tuesday, September 17!   Grow Native Massachusetts, Bluestem Natives, Lady Fern Farm, Checkerspot Farms, and Red Trillium Gardens will have booths with some of your favorite native plants for sale!  It’s a fantastic opportunity to obtain native plants from reputable vendors  for the fall planting season.  Look for the Newton Conservators Green tent along with the native plant farms along the tennis court near the regular Farmer’s Market.  Stop by and say hello.  We will have garden carts available to help  transport any purchased plants back to your car.  Don’t miss this unique group of native plant suppliers – perhaps the best chance this fall to improve your garden by growing native!
