Ferns are everywhere, and they are beautiful, interesting, and varied. Ellen and Jim Meadors, plant enthusiasts with a special interest in ferns, will take fellow fern lovers through Hammond Woods and demonstrate how to easily identify the most common species in the Boston region. The Meadors have led numerous fern and wildflower walks in their hometown of Lincoln. Meet at the Hammond Pond parking lot, off Hammond Pond Parkway, behind the Street shops at Chestnut Hill Mall.
