Henry Finch, a Newton Conservators director and avid hiker, will lead a 4.9-mile trek through Newton’s sections of the Sudbury and Cochituate aqueducts. Henry plans on walking roughly two miles per hour on mostly level terrain. If participants walk a slower pace than this, Henry can shorten the route or offer cutoffs to those who wish to leave the hike early. Meet at the Newton Centre playground at the intersection of Centre Street and Tyler Terrace.
A steady rain will cancel the walk.
