Celebrate, learn and take action for Earth Day! Bring your family and friends to Newton’s 3rd Annual Earth Day Festival for all things green! Enjoy live music and great food while learning about all the ways you can make a difference. There will be local businesses and nonprofits on site to help guide you, whether you’re looking to go solar, pick out an electric vehicle, insulate your home, start composting, and much more! And there’s plenty of fun for the kids, including a petting zoo, face painting, nature themed activities, and an Earth Day celebration with Little Beats.
There will also be a Family Bike Ride at 1 pm starting from the Bike Newton booth at the Earth Day Festival. And don’t forget our Newton Conservators Aqueduct Hike with Henry Finch at 3 pm starting from the Starbucks in Waban.

If outdoors, the festival will be in the parking lot along Walnut Street closer to the Cabot Street intersection. In the event of rain, the event will take place indoors. Newton’s Earth Day Festival is hosted by Green Newton, the City’s Climate Team, and Newton’s EV Task Force.
