Join Richard Primack, professor of plant ecology at Boston University, to learn about the notable rocks and geological features of Webster Woods, including the Cliffs, the Alcove, “Mountain Lion” Rock, hanging rocks, and the recent enormous rockfall. People should meet at the kiosk at the parking lot next to Hammond Pond, where there is a path into the woods. Long pants and good footwear are recommended. Terrain is steep in some places. Rain Date: Sunday, Nov. 1, 2 – 3:30 pm.
