A non-profit citizens' group advocating for Newton's open spaces
At its regular meeting on Monday, December 2nd, the City Council is scheduled to take the final votes on the recommendation of the Community Preservation Committee that the City use CPA funds to take by eminent domain 17 acres of Webster Woods that Boston College bought in 2016.
On November 25th, the City Council voted by overwhelming margins to give preliminary approval to the proposal.
