On August 25, 2026, the cyanobacteria advisory for the Charles River adjacent to Nahanton Park, Cutler Park, and Millennium Park was lifted. On September 22nd, the advisory for the portion of the Charles from the Massachusetts Avenue Bridge to the Science Museum dam in Boston was also lifted. No advisories remain in effect on the Charles.
